Winded Cotton Tales
New lands, strange people (Entry 86)
Saoirse and I have been riding the winds to the north into little-known lands. It’s so exciting! Just today we found this neat village full of almost naked tattooed humans and halflings, I’ve never seen anything like it! They have these wondrous blue patterns tattooed all over their bodies. Oh! And rabbits everywhere! They talk! Apparently that’s normal around here. Anyways, a halfling named Nilos took me to go see their shaman, apparently none of them had seen a gnome before. Anyways their shaman, Bodb, (whose door you get to kick instead of knock, thanks Nilos!) introduced me to one of the rabbits named Fiver, which is a funny name, and wants me to escort him on an adventure! Something to do with stopping a thing that’s making grimlocks come up and bother everyone.
So Fiver is a follower of Mórrígán, like I’m a follower of Biróg! Except he’s not of the druidical type. While Mórrígán is a war goddess and I’m not too fond of fighting, she does like birds and other creatures so I like her too. I’m sure Fiver and I will get along. He’s a healer here and he wears a bunch of metal armor, and a cape!
They let me stay the night over at their clinic, and I got to hear all sorts of neat stories. Tomorrow morning we are supposed to leave. I can’t wait to find out what’s there! There might be this medusa-lizard thing there, that would be neat, although we probably shouldn’t look at it.
